Internal Affairs, First Cut 1

Season 2 03.1 — 03min 23sec — 12 August 2015
Listed as "HMD 2.03, Internal Affairs", only three segments of this episode were ever released as 'rough cuts'. This first one is of three scenes (10, 12, & 13) that have been assembled and work together. It features Dr. Henglaar (John Whiting), Lieutenant Commander Mio (the Cole's First Officer, played by Casey Jones), with an appearance by the Cole's new Computer Voice, Debba Rofheart. Current Production Notes

On April 15, 2019, the following was posted on the Hidden Frontier Facebook page...

"To quote the most recent episode of Star Trek: Discovery, “…forward motion is the most honest choice….”
I can’t keep postponing the inevitable.
It is with great sorrow that I must announce that Star Trek: Henglaar, M.D. has been canceled. I must also announce that the hiddenfrontier.net website will cease to exist as of May 15. [This has since been extended]
At the end of the day, while I still have stories that I want to tell, while I still have these characters’ voices still in my head…I’m just no longer in a position to bring it all to fruition. My career, health, and personal life have all become much more demanding of my time and energy. Couple that with the delays in production from the fan film guidelines controversy, the loss of some key talent, and impending increases in costs of production and website maintenance…the inertia just became too much to overcome.
It has been an honor to bring the eight episodes we managed to produce to our fans. Working with the volunteer talent we were able to assemble (my former writing partner Mark Painter, our casting goddess Kestra Oliver, and especially our main cast members John Whiting, Timothy Fritts, Jeannie Lin, Mark Samarias, Evin Wald, and Heather Ashleigh) has been one of the highlights of my life. I wish we could have shared more of their work with you.
It has been an honor to help my fellow audio producers, Camren T. Burton, Andrew Foster, and Alex Matthews, as they brought more than a dozen other stories to our fans.
Most importantly, it has been an honor to carry on in the footsteps of Rob Caves and the amazing group of fans he brought together to make Star Trek: Hidden Frontier and its spin-offs.
I wish you all calm seas and clear horizons.
Live Long and Prosper,
David W. Hill
Executive Producer, Star Trek: Henglaar, M.D.
P.S. Our episodes will remain available for listening and download via Apple Podcasts and spreaker.com until the end of the month. This page will be pulled down at that time."

This deadline has since been extended slightly and offers have been made to Hidden Frontier Productions to maintain an archive site.
