This fan film series follows Captain William Nimoy as he guides the crew of the U.S.S. Pine to seek out and explore new worlds and uncharted galaxies. With new threats, allies and planets, no encounter is out of reach or too adventurous. Crimsonverse Productions takes Star Trek back to it's roots of exploration and science in the style of Star Trek 'Golden Age' properties such as TNG, Voyager and DS9 but explored through the lens of the altered Kelvin timeline.

After disobeying the prime directive the crew of the USS Pine are sent on data collecting missions whilst Starfleet decide their future, arriving at their destination they're attacked by an unknown vessel forcing them to abandon to the 'dead' planet below. Stranded and separated on an uncharted world, the crew struggle to regroup. They find more on the planet than they expected though when they come across a seemingly telepathic species that do not exist
