I wrote a script, found an agent willing to represent it, and was planning to submit it to Mike McMahon for the show's sixth season, but sadly Lower Decks ended after season 5. Rather than let the script be forgotten, I decided to rewrite it as an audio drama, and I got some friends, family, and great podcasters to help read it."
