Vance Major's Minard Universe
Vance Major has produced or otherwise been a major influence in an immense number of works spread over a number of production groups and in so doing has been instrumental in creating a shared universe, which Wikipedia defines as "a set of creative works where more than one writer (or other artist) independently contributes a work that can stand alone but fits into the joint development of the storyline, characters, or world of the overall project."
Jonathan Lane has said on Fan Film Factor, "Vance had previously made a name for himself when he turned his character of Chief Engineer Eric Minard from the fan series STARSHIP VALIANT into an artificially long-lived Starfleet officer whose career spanned from the Christopher Pike era all the way through the Battle of Wolf 359, the re-taking of Deep Space Nine, and beyond. Along the way, Minard has encountered multiple alien races, survived space battles and starship crashes, and even squared off against his Mirror Universe doppelgänger."
This page is our attempt to place all those works into context, into roughly chronological order. It can never be authoratative, not least because of Vance Major's adoption of 'the after credit' as one of his signature moves and they invariably take place decades later than the title story.
This list is broken up into three sections...
THE MINARD SAGA - These are earlier videos, based on a Youtube playlist created by Vance Major entitled VMAN RESUME, as updated 22 Nov 2019, whose action takes place during the Star Trek 'Golden Era' of The Original Series. If there is an updated version to bring it into line with the Constar Chronicles, then that version is shown here.
