USS Jönköping is named after the birthplace of one of ABBA's vocalists, while the NCC registration 55110 is the city's ZIP code. Neotron develops the concept of baryon purge introduced in the TNG episode Starship Mine. The entire movie was filmed with a skeleton crew of 6 people, including the cast. The movie was awarded at the Prague short film festival "Book The Film" as a best amateurs film in September 2021.
